We recommend starting with an initial consult. Your Rousia endocrinologist will determine if testing is needed before finalizing your treatment plan. For patients who do an initial consult first and are recommended to test, the follow-up to review results and create a treatment plan is included; there is no extra charge.

If you test before an initial consult and your results show normal thyroid function, a consultation may not be required. However, if your results indicate a hormone imbalance, your doctor will guide you in creating a personalized care plan in your initial consult.

Results are typically available within 3–5 business days after your sample is received by the lab. Once ready, your results will be available on our testing partner’s HIPAA-secure portal. If your results indicate a thyroid problem, you can upload them to your Rousia patient portal for review and personalized follow-up care.

Rousia does not bill insurance for at-home thyroid testing. However, you will receive an insurance-ready billing statement that you can self-submit to your insurance carrier.
