We recommend starting with an initial consult. Your doctor will determine if testing is needed before finalizing your treatment plan. If testing is done after your initial consult, your follow-up to review results and create a treatment plan is included; there is no extra charge. If you test before an initial consult and your results show normal thyroid function, a consultation may not be necessary. However, if your results indicate a hormone imbalance, your doctor will guide you in creating a personalized care plan during your consult.

Your first appointment includes:

• Review of your medical history (and test results, if you already have them).

• Recommendations for next steps, lifestyle, and on-going care for vibrant thyroid living.

You will receive personalized advice on managing your thyroid health, including lifestyle adjustments, medication recommendations, and next steps for ongoing care.

Consultations are tailored to your needs but generally last about 30 minutes for initial consults ($250) and 15 minutes for follow-up consults ($125). These durations provide ample time to start and continue with us for your thyroid care.

Yes, if needed, your endocrinologist will send the prescription to your preferred pharmacy. You can also choose to receive your medication at home through our online pharmacy service.

Rousia prescribes levothyroxine, liothyronine (Cytomel), methimazole (Tapazole), and propylthiouracil (PTU). We do not prescribe desiccated pig thyroid hormone because we prefer medications that are more biologically like the body’s natural thyroid hormones.
